How we handle your data

The Final Whistle runs a team's post-match awards vote. It's run by Mark Bodoano. Contact: privacy@hockeyvote.com.

What we hold: the first names or nicknames the captain types in, the award names, each ballot's votes, and the reasons people write. We don't ask for anyone's surname, email, phone number or account.

Your ballot is not labelled with your name.

Reasons are deleted when the results are shown. Everything else is deleted 24 hours after the game starts, or sooner if the captain deletes it.

We save a little information on your phone so your half-written ballot isn't lost and so you can only vote once. It never leaves your phone except as a scrambled code.

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking, and we never sell data. If a sponsor appears in the app, it's shown the same way to everyone, and sponsors never receive names, ballots or anything you write.

Keep reasons to friendly banter. Don't write anything about someone's health or private life.

This app is for adult teams.

Our data is stored with Lovable Cloud on Amazon Web Services in Ireland (EU).
